Field work always goes by so fast! My time aboard the R/V Akademik Fedorov flew by and came to an end when we docked in Tromsø on October 28. I’m still processing everything I learned and experienced. I had so many firsts on this adventure… first cruise on an icebreaker, first experience with polar night, first time seeing the aurora (besides faint wisps in Northern Minnesota), and first time coding in python!
